Coming up on Sunday, August 27 is Punjabi Market Live, featuring DJs, live music, dance, art, cuisine, fashion and more on Main Street between 49th and 51st Avenues. This free event, in partnership with the Punjabi Market Collective, is a wonderful way to wind down summer.
In addition to traditional dishes from Main Street restaurants to savour, there will be food trucks, free chai and jalebis (Indian sweets) on offer.
Get your photo taken with mascot Fin at the Vancouver Canucks & Warriors Kids Zone, where families can partake in arts and crafts, face painting and practice shots at the Vancouver Warriors lacrosse net.
