As a digital influencer, Vancouverscape receives a steady stream of invitations to travel on press trips, produce sponsored content, host contest giveaways, review products as well as attend concerts, festivals and theater productions. We aim to give each PR firm equal representation on our site.
Given the ever-increasing amount of media releases sent our way, it’s often hard to grant each and every request. We aim to answer emails within two business days.
Please rest assured that your event may not be featured this time around, but don’t give up. We may be able to catch you on the next one.
1. Please introduce yourself in your pitch. It takes a lot of time and energy to cover as much as I (along with my contributing writers) do, so a proper greeting is always appreciated. Promise to do the same once we’ve connected!
2. Subject matter focusing on luxury travel, tech, lifestyle, and products for review that work in an urban, well-designed/locally-made angle always get first dibs on coverage.
3. Vancouverscape is not an events listing site. We prefer to highlight a handful of events each month and cover others as time permits.
It’s extremely helpful and time-saving on our end to receive clearly-worded and organized media releases, preferably with a unique angle if being pitched to a large amount of other writers and bloggers.
Outbound URL links to the event and/or persons/products involved are appreciated.
Vancouverscape enjoys making use of photography in its posts. When sending photos, please do so in landscape (horizontal) mode and make sure that they’re at least 640 pixels wide.
Please include photo credits when sending images. Photographers appreciate being credited for their hard work.
