Massachusetts-headquartered OOFOS designs athletic sneakers that offer rebound and energy return for fitness enthusiasts to recover from repeated workouts on hard surfaces.
Pounding the pavement on a daily basis has resulted (many years later) in some plantar issues in my left foot, so when I learned about OOOFOS and their dedication to technological advancements in athletic footwear, I knew I had to try them out for myself.
OOFOS uses a proprietary OOfoam technology that absorbs 37% more impact than traditional foam footwear materials, while the patented footbed both cradles and supports your arches to reduce energy exertion in the ankles.
This translates to easier walking and faster recovery post-workouts. When your feet are tired, they’re prone to imbalance and instability. Shoes that distribute pressure to stabilize and support the way you’re built to move is what makes OOFOS a winner in recovery footwear.

The Sport LS is a comfy, casual shoe that’s meant for active days. The material is 4-way stretch FibreFlex, and is super flexible to move with your foot’s motions.
A specially designed integrated lacing system provides adjustable heel and mid-foot lock plus stability. They’re lightweight and pack easily to take on travels.

The OOmg Sport LS is a unique shoe in fit and design, as it envelops your foot. It also borrows features from other footwear models in the collection (footbed geometry, OOfoam technology).
My all-black shoe is ideal for casual walks and even for a quick bike ride around the city. They can be worn with or without socks depending on preference.

OOahh Sport Slide Sandal
I was curious to see how the OOahh Sport Slide Sandal would compare with HOKA’s Recovery Slide Sandal 3, as I now own both models. While they’re similar in weight and general design, the OOahh Slide has an open back. The closed-cell foam is machine washable and is designed to minimize odour.
This is ideal as the sandal is not available in half sizes. I normally wear an 8.5, and the 9 is just right with a little ‘extra space’. Super comfy, they feel like walking on a sponge.
These help to reduce stress on sore feet, knees and back, while their overall shape allows more natural motion to your steps. And after a full day of travel or walking, they are a beautiful thing for relaxing tired feet.
