Ever thought how great it would be to have a portable safe when on the road? Maybe you’d like to travel with an irreplaceable piece of jewellery, important documents or medicine? AltVault is currently Kickstarting their way into making this a reality and are working to bring it to market in early 2020.
The idea of a personal pocket vault came after long-time friends/co-founders Jeremy, Kalen and Dave learned the story of a man who lost a cryptocurrency hard wallet, causing him to lose a lot of money as a result (AltVault began as a simple idea to protect cryptocurrency).

During the design phase, they quickly discovered many other needs that AltVault could meet. Through multiple inserts, the team built a case for storing anything small and valuable. With a focus on the opioid crisis, they additionally included an insert for medication to cut down access to opiates and other potentially harmful medications.
AltVault is shatter-proof, lockable, customizable and trackable (via Tile, not included). It’s lightweight too, with an interchangeable RFID multi pocket for stowing credit cards, medical cards, foreign currency and ID.
The AltVault is set to include three padded inserts: universal, jewellery plus a clear divider to completely customize your storage needs.
A built-in cradle can hold any Tile tracking device so if you accidentally misplace your AltVault, you’ll be able to track it down.

Every detail of the AltVault has been throughly tested, from the 3-digit metal combination lock (with the ability to choose from 1,000 combinations) to an included 10” cut-resistant tether for added security. The AltVault’s stylish, curved edges make the product easy to stow into your purse, backpack or briefcase.
Made of double mold-injected nylon poly carbonate (the same material as bulletproof glass), AltVault is engineered for maximum strength and shock absorption.
