Eagle Creek, a company known for its smartly designed travel luggage and accessories has a couple of great products for road warriors: the Travel Bug Mini Backpack and eTools Organizer.
The weather-proof Travel Bug currently comes in black and is packed with great features. Concerned about protecting your identity on the road? This bag has an RFID security pocket for stowing your passport, credit and ID cards, blocking RFID readers up to a frequency range of 30 MHz to 3 GHz.
It weighs a mere 11 ounces (.31 kg) before you pack it with digital tablet, smart phone, pen, writing journal, umbrella, wallet, compact camera and paperwork. It fits a LOT for its small size.
We like the zipper toggles that can be tucked into one another as well as through the two dedicated metal hole fasteners contained at the top of both compartments. I was robbed on a European train years back and can’t help but think that a system like this may have prevented an awful lot of grief that night in Lisbon!
A handy side compartment fits a small water bottle or travel-sized tripod. The carry strap and back of the Travel Bug both include breathable mesh fabric for warmer treks.
A carry loop on top, zipped mesh inner pocket and internal key fob clip are handy touches.
