We’ve recently been introduced to luxury/sustainable athleisure brand French Lime, founded by Denise Saad, a Mexican designer based in Vancouver, BC.

Saab’s line of leggings and tops is inspired by travels to major cities around the world. With a background in digital art, she’s created some pretty unique, well-designed pieces for all body sizes and shapes (sizing from XS to 2XL).

These leggings are all available with a matching crop top, are meant to flatter your figure and can be worn from workouts to casual outings.

From the current assortment of over two dozen styles, we selected three to showcase: Christiana (Denmark), Helsinki (Finland) and Vancouver of course (Canada).

It’s hard to pick just one design! Each sports a design unique to the city. While some pieces are patterned, others contain different elements front and back. Your wardrobe will be happy with the variety of colour and accents that each one offers.

We chose Christiana for the brick archway leading to trees and mountains in the back, Helsinki for its ultra-cool striped effect, and in stark contrast, Vancouver, a black-and-white print sporting Canada Place sails in front, leading to the actual building and surroundings in back.

All French Lime Leggings can be machine-washed in cold water and are quick-drying. The fabric is designed to retain its shape over time and the company promises that the colours won’t fade provided they are washed per instructions (no hot water).

The fit is high-rise, the fabric is breathable (88% Eco-Poly, 12% Spandex) and sustainably-produced, making this an eco-friendly purchase in time for fall and winter lounging (and they’ll make great holiday gifts).
