This year, Steel & Oak Brewing Co.’s Analog Vinyl Record Fair will take place onsite at the New West brewery on Saturday, November 30 and Sunday, December 1. Music lovers, vinyl collectors, and craft beer enthusiasts alike will gather for a two-day celebration of sound and brews. Kick off the holiday season with this memorable two-day event, formerly held in various New West venue spaces.
Steel & Oak will create a cozy indoor space for guests to connect over music and to discover records from a wide range of genres.
According to Steel & Oak’s Jordan Brett, “It’s a welcoming space where casual conversations spark over shared music finds, creating a unique, immersive experience that celebrates both records and community. The atmosphere is laid-back yet vibrant, with live DJs providing an exciting soundtrack to the event.”
Since it began in 2016, the Analog Vinyl Record Fair has sought to bring together the local music and vinyl community for a one-of-a-kind experience.
On Saturday, Nov. 30, local DJs from BSide Radio will set the tone with all-vinyl sets, creating the perfect soundtrack for folks to browse and connect with other music enthusiasts.
Sunday’s offerings will include a “bring your own vinyl” session, where guests are invited to share a side of their favourite record or spin their latest finds on the brewery’s turntables. There will be a raffle on Sunday for a chance to win a gift card to a local record shop plus prizes from Steel & Oak.
Look for a wide range of alternative, punk, heavy metal, jazz, funk, folk, and everything in between. Attendees aged 19 and up will get $1 off a glass of beer with any record purchase. Steel & Oak aims to provide a memorable kickoff to the holiday season at this year’s Analog Vinyl Record Fair.
