We’re all about making the most of our suitcase’s real estate and have become lifelong fans of Eagle Creek’s travel products. Their lifetime warranty gives peace of mind and so far everything we’ve tried serves a solid purpose.
With fall and winter travel getaways on our mind, we’ve curated a few pieces from Eagle Creek’s Pack-It line as well as a super handy packable tote that converts into a last-minute carry-on with backpack straps.
Pack-It Specter Tech™ Slim Cube Small
We like these unstructured, lightweight and see-through Pack-It Specter Tech™ Slim Cubes: they’re unstructured to take their own form when packed, so you can squeeze them into your pack or suitcase. The two-way self-repairing zippers makes sure the bag won’t snag when you’re quickly grabbing that pair of socks or undies.
We’ve been finding the size perfect for packing in six pairs of socks or underwear (two cubes are perfect for a two-week trip). The cubes can also accommodate gloves, toques, snacks, cables or a swimsuit.
The material reminds us of a parachute — strong and sturdy! The cubes are even treated to repel both water and stains so they’ll stay cleaner during your trip.

So where do those dirty socks and undies go? To the Clean/Dirty Cube!
Pack-It Specter Tech™ Clean/Dirty Cube Medium
As hotels become more environmentally-friendly and begin to do away with plastic laundry bags (yes, we use those to collect our dirty clothes for stowing into luggage), the Eagle Creek Clean/Dirty Cube is made of the same strong material as the Slim Cube, stowing your clean clothes in one section and your dirty ones in another.
Via a center divider, clean is up front, dirty in back (the divider is both sealed and water-repellent so your dirty laundry doesn’t add moisture to the clean stuff).
The cube’s self-correcting zipper pulls zip around smartly colour-coded zippers, too: green is clean, grey is dirty.
Whether you roll your clothes or pack them flat, the Clean/Dirty Cube uses the same translucent fabric as the Slim Cubes so you can see what’s inside without having to open it. There’s also a webbed grab handle on top that supports the weight of the bag’s contents.
Both Slim and Clean/Dirty cubes are hand-washable.

Packable Daypack
For those times when we’ve picked up some must-have item on our travels (that just won’t fit into a pack or suitcase), the Packable Daypack comes to the rescue. The pouch has an integrated zipper and key fob which actually becomes part of the pack once opened. There’s even a side pocket for a small water bottle or umbrella.
It’s super lightweight (0.16g/5 oz.), durable and easy to throw into a bag or suitcase.
The main compartment is lockable (via Central Lock Point) so you can leave it on your back without worrying about pickpockets.

The daypack is designed for easy access to your goods via the large zippered opening.
