For women, the Astoria West Sandal takes its design from the Newport but adds a heel lift and an elasticized band at the back of the ankle for added stability.
Men’s Newport H2
Back 2003, KEEN’s founders asked the question, “Can a sandal protect your toes?” More specifically, can it protect you when you’re out on a sailboat (a place not particularly friendly to vulnerable toes)? And so the Newport H2 was born.

Women’s Astoria West Sandal
As mentioned above, KEEN’s Astoria West takes the Newport H2 and adds a heel lift and a women’s-specific contoured fit, with slip-resistant grip, cushioned support, and quick-dry recycled plastic webbing.
