Cannery Brewing’s newest beer, L’Orage Noir, which translates to Black Storm, is the latest limited release in the Artisan Creations series from Penticton’s Cannery Brewing.
We found the L’Orage Noir a wonderful weekend sipper; at 9% alc./vol., it’s a dark red beer with a nice complex mix of yeast and barley malt. This powerhouse brew also happens to be Cannery’s strongest beer to date.
According to Cannery’s head brewer Ross Thompson, the L’Orage, an Abbey-style Belgian dark strong ale, focuses on unique flavours created by Belgian yeast and Candi sugar.
