Calling all makers (and makers at heart): Vancouver Maker Faire returns to Vancouver on Saturday, September 14, at TELUS World of Science.
The maker movement is alive and well on the West coast, and Vancouver Maker Faire has found a new home at Science World, easily reachable via public transit, cycling or walking (depending on where you live of course).
This event is billed as a combination of science fair, country fair and something entirely new. Come and see for yourself!
You’ll have the chance to engage with over 50 tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, science clubs and artists, as they gather to build community, share knowledge and spark inspiration.
Ever wanted to know how 3D printing works? How about human-powered vehicles, soldering, knitting, robotics, metal work or other fun, engaging hobbies? It’s all here under one dome on the 14th.
Anyone who embraces the DIY spirit is invited — all for the price of a regular Science World admission. See you there?
