Last Sunday, Mission Kitsilano held a launch party for the their new Secret Sundays series. Every Sunday evening from 9 pm to closing, Mission Kits now offers a Late Night Happy Hour with $6 classic cocktails and $5 wine and beer.

We sampled the ginger-infused gin, nettle, meadow grass and fir tree cordial, amaro, char-grilled lemon and black truffle salt creation that is Under Milk Wood (a new personal favourite) as well as Gosford Park #2, containing steamed rhubarb-infused cherry kirsch, rose and raspberry coulis, lemon and San Joao Bruto sparkling. Mission Kits features five or six crafted and classic cocktails.
