The cooler weather calls for full-bodied reds. And what better way to warm up than with a Syrah tasting? Discover the story of Syrah as it unfolds from its origins in the Rhône Valley to its newfound digs in Australia where it’s known as Shiraz.

Syrah was one of the featured grapes at this year’s Vancouver International Wine Festival, and I was lucky to have sampled 12 of Chile’s diverse syrahs in a seminar last March.
