French beauty brand La Rosée launched in 2015 after two French pharmacists, Coline Bertrand and Mahout de Guibert, met at Lyon Pharmacy School and became fast friends.
While at school, they sensed a lack of simple, hydrating pharmacy skincare products that respected both the skin and our planet. Driven by a shared entrepreneurial spirit, they set out to create a committed cosmetics brand that would embrace strong values as well as develop a product range with one key essential goal in mind: skin hydration, the secret of beautiful skin.
They worked tirelessly to find that perfect balance between naturalness and effectiveness, while ensuring a sensory experience that included pleasant textures and irresistible scents.
All formulas contain natural products and follow fair pricing practices (products average CAD $30 each). Whenever possible, La Rosée works with companies that employ people with disabilities or those in vocational rehabilitation, working towards a regenerative model with sustainability at the core of their entire supply chain.

Moisturizing Gel Cream
I’d been searching for a lightweight moisturizer with a gentle scent to keep my skin feeling soft and hydrated. Luckily for me, I discovered La Rosée’s Moisturizing Gel Cream to help to protect my skin from environmental stressors.
It’s an ideal formula for combination to oily skin to rebalance the hydrolipidic barrier. La Rosée combines cucumber to moisturize, zinc to purify, and algae extracts to mattify the T-zone. Gentle Face Scrub
Open up a tube of Gentle Face Scrub and the first thing that you’ll notice is a clear gel with tiny exfoliating beads. These are made from naturally-derived jojoba wax that help to remove dead skin cells after a gentle massage and rinse. I’ve been using the product weekly, and I enjoy the subtle scent and smooth skin that I get after each use.
This scrub incorporates organic aloe vera to help soothe and moisturize the skin, as well as to improve the effectiveness of other skincare products. 60ml; CAD $27
Repairing Hand Cream
While this cream at first feels a tad sticky when putting on, it quickly dissolves into the skin to soothe dry hands. The scent is subtle, with a combination of organic coconut oil and shea butter that helps nourish and strengthen the hydrolipidic barrier.
Added to this is organic aloe vera, vegetable glycerin, and hyaluronic acid for hydrating and softening the skin together with organic Arnica Montana and calendula for repairing dry skin — even small wounds.
