Aveeno recently sent us a couple of their best-selling items that are now sold in refillable, screw-top pouches to refill (and reuse) your Aveeno® Daily Moisturizing Body Wash and Calm + Restore Nourishing Oat Cleanser.
Instead of purchasing new single-use containers every time a product runs out, refilling allows you to reuse the same container, reducing the amount of waste that ends up in landfills or pollutes the environment. We’ve seen many local companies sprout up around Canada that allow customers to bring their own empty containers to refill with their products and are happy to see Aveeno moving in this direction as well.
Aveeno’s Daily Moisturizing Body Wash Refill is designed to be used with their Moisturizing Body Wash bottle, to minimize mess. Formulated with non-GMO oats, Aveeno® Daily Moisturizing Body Wash (and refill) gently cleanse and moisturize, leaving your skin feeling soft and nourished after showering.
This soft-scented body wash is formulated without parabens, phthalates, dyes, soaps, and alcohol, contains non-GMO oats and is made with 30% less post-consumer recycled plastic, so you can feel good about using it while helping our planet. It comes in a 532 ml bottle and a 1.06 L refill bag.
We’re new to Aveeno’s Calm + Restore Nourishing Oat Cleanser and were happy to try it during our facial routines. This product is also free of parabens, phthalates, dyes, soaps, and alcohol and is non-comedogenic, to keep your pores free of those annoying blackheads. Through a gentle scrubbing action, the cleanser gave us a clean, hydrated feeling after use without any issues. My skin is a bit on the sensitive side, so I was hoping to discover Aveeno’s cleanser is actually hypoallergenic and has been tested on sensitive skin.
The Calm + Restore Nourishing Oat Cleanser is packaged in a 232 ml bottle and a 473ml refillable pouch. Both Aveeno products can be refilled twice with their respective refill pouches.
