Charles Ross in One-Man Star Wars Trilogy

Miss getting your fix of Vancouver Fringe Festival shows? It’ll be awhile before the 2015 festival returns to the city. For the second year running, Vancouver Fringe Festival presents year-round programming, kicking the three-show series off with Charles Ross in One-Man Star Wars Trilogy.

After last year’s sold out run of One-Man Lord of the Rings, Charles Ross returns by popular demand with his One-Man Star Wars Trilogy, directed by TJ Dawe! Charles has toured the world with One-Man Star Wars Trilogy since 2002, when it was a hit on the Fringe circuit, with the George Lucas stamp of approval.

Much of Ross’ childhood was spent in a galaxy far, far away, watching Star Wars videos over and over and over again. The result of this misspent youth is his hilarious One-Man Star Wars™ Trilogy, where he single-handedly plays all the characters, sings the music, flies the ships, fights the battles, and condenses the plots into just 60 minutes!

“With nuclear levels of energy, [Ross] throws himself around the stage, performing not only the dialogue of Lucas’ movies, but the theme music, sound effects, and both sides of the lightsaber battles.”—Variety
