Ever since I spotted these spiffy Saucony Peregrine 8 runners online, I knew they’d make a super comfortable, urban-minded trail shoe.
Saucony sent me a pair to test drive and I can honestly say that they’ve been comfortable right out of the box.
I’ve been out power walking with them and enjoy the cushioning and shock absorption they offer. I have flat feet and appreciate a bit of arch support in these shoes.
Over time, I’ve found that the Peregrine 8 offers comfort, support and excellent traction for a lightweight shoe of its type with a mesh upper that offers great ventilation for summer treks.
Saucony’s PWRFOAM midsole promises a “smooth ride and added rebound” while the outsole grip works in a variety of terrain, from packed dirt trails to grass to gravel. These shoes are also ideal for keeping the feet firmly inside for improved stability.
Another key feature is the EVERUNTM Topsole construction, bringing enhanced energy return and continuous cushioning throughout your run.
Admittedly I am not a runner, yet have found that aside from power walking, they’re great for wearing on bike rides and running errands around town.
With removable insoles, the Peregrine 8’s are also orthotic-friendly. Categorized as a neutral trail shoe, they’re available in sizes 5 to 12 (half-sizes too) in Grey/Violet/Aqua, Black/Mint/Berry and Wine/Peach colour combos.
Find the Peregrine 8 trail shoe online at Saucony Canada and at retailers across North America for CAD $149.99/USD $120.
