Nearly three million Canadians will be affected by rare disease in their lifetime. The Rare Disease Foundation focuses on linking science and clinical practices using an innovative approach to revolutionize rare disease care.
The Microgrant program aims to solve specific problems that reflect patient priorities and care with peer-reviewed grants that provide a small amount of funding to applicants affiliated with Canadian institutions and on the front lines of rare disease care.
