Getting ready to head for the mountains, trails, coast or even your own backyard for BBQ season this spring and summer?
We’ve already been enjoying a few urban adventures of our own with YETI’s Trailhead Camp Chair, what could easily be considered the Rolls-Royce of camping chairs.
The Trailhead comes packed in a sturdy canvas zippered carrying bag with backpack-style straps, to keep hands free for other gear as you make your way to the campsite or beach.
It unfolds to a full-sized 75.9 x 92.1 x 63.8cm (29.9 x 36.3 x 25.1”) chair with comfy arm rests, back support and super sturdy, extra-wide grippy feet to avoid slippage as well as for added stability on uneven terrain.
The chair unfolds via a lockdown tension system on both the back and arms to optimize the frame’s construction. We’re pretty impressed with its comfort too.
The Trailhead’s breathable Flexgrid fabric is easy to wipe clean and is designed to conform to your body (will support up to 227 kg in weight). It’s even UV-rated to protect against chipping and fabric disintegration over time due to the sun’s rays.

And when it’s time to kick back and enjoy the outdoors, the integrated side cup holder will fit most water bottles and beer cans. We outfitted our Trailhead with YETI’s own Rambler Colster can insulator, which will keep your bevvy nice and chilled.
The insulated holder includes a gasket that screws on once a beer can is inserted.
The Rambler Colster is sold in three sizes and a wide range of colours: 355 ml (12 oz), 355 ml (12 oz) slim can (CAD $35) and 473 ml (16 oz) tall can versions. The 355 ml sizes are CAD $35; the 473 ml is CAD $40.
