Last night, Lift Bar and Grill launched their Executive Catering service with a spectacular event at the Harbour Centre’s Vancouver Lookout.
The wine and seafood together with the commanding city views made for a memorable experience shared with friends and local media.
I sampled some of the freshest sushi imaginable, along with local BC oysters, smoked and candied salmon, crab legs, shrimp, seared scallops and several appetizers. The Oeuf Foie Carême was my favourite dish, consisting of artichoke, smoked salmon and duck foie gras, brioche and poached quail egg.
The catering service offers Canapés ordered by the dozen, with a 3 dozen minimum per order. Their menu offers several seafood options, sushi (a Yam & Shiitake roll for vegetarians), and an array of platters.
Chef-manned cooking stations are also available to hire for events. Lift Bar and Grill is located at 333 Menchions Mews in Vancouver’s Coal Harbour.
