Vancouver’s weather may be in a state of confusion, but make no mistake, we’ve still got a few weeks to call it summer until Labour Day.

Writing about Christmas is pretty far off our radar, but Indigo’s new holiday goods will enter stores in late October/early November and with that in mind, here’s a sneak peek at some of the fun pieces that’ll soon enter stores (as well as online).

This highly social annual event was held inside Loden Hotel’s gorgeous penthouse suite offering sweeping views of the harbour and North shore mountains.

With a cocktail in hand, I checked out a luxurious room filled with fun Canadiana-themed pillows, scented candles, gifts for cooks and toys for the younger set under the tree. I particularly like the provincial mugs and deer antler cutting board and knife set.

As always, Indigo designers create fun ornaments for the tree and this season’s no exception.

Bookworms will get their fix with Canada by Mike Myers, 99: Stories of the Game by Wayne Gretzky, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Parts One and Two by J.K. Rowling, Jack Throne and John Tiffany, Born to Run by Bruce Springsteen and numerous other titles for everyone on the list.
