So many beautiful Vancouver hotels love to dress up their lobbies for the holiday season. I enjoy taking a breather at this time of the year to admire the decorated trees at the Hyatt, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, and others. This year, The Rosewood Hotel Georgia will join the holiday tradition with a cheerful day of caroling, live piano music, a visit from Santa Claus and hot apple cider and hot chocolate for visitors.
Sunday, December 4th is when the festivities will take place, just ahead of the Rogers Annual Santa Claus Parade. Donations will be accepted in support of both the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Union Gospel Mission.
Here’s a break down of the day’s events, all located in the hotel lobby:
10 am to noon – Carol Singers
Noon to 2 pm and 5 to 7 pm – Live piano music
11 am to 1 pm – A visit from Santa Claus
In addition, children are invited to post letters to the North Pole via the Rosewood Hotel Georgia’s bronze letterbox, an original feature from when the property first opened in 1927. For more information, visit the website or phone 604.682.5566.
