Danish watch brand Skagen has been on our radar for years — their jewellery and watches are both modern and timeless (pardon the pun).

Skagen’s team of Danish designers are continually inspired by the Copenhagen fashion scene and keep on top of new trends, mixing bold colours and patterns to create functional pieces for both men and women.

This minimalist Signatur Leather Watch caught our associate editor’s eye, so we thought it would be ideal to feature it ahead of the holidays.

The sleek, 40mm stainless steel Signatur contains a sandblasted dial and three-hand quartz movement.

Its hours are marked by linear and dot indexes (with two dots at the 12 o’clock hour), while each five-minute marker includes a tiny number above the line and dot combination. A silent orange second hand nicely compliments the colour and design scheme.

Finished with a 20mm interchangeable leather strap (with buckle clasp), this one’s bound to work with most wardrobes.

Perfect for travelling, the watch is also water-resistant up to 5 ATM (resistant to water damage up to a pressure of five atmospheres or 150 feet) and comes with a storage box.
