Gordon Ramsay Steak, part of the Gordon Ramsey dining empire, will finally open his highly-anticipated Canadian steakhouse this weekend at Richmond’s River Rock Casino Resort. Reservations are now open (via OpenTable) for the 266-seater featuring a main dining room, vibrant bar and lounge, outdoor Marina Terrace overlooking the Fraser River, and private dining space.

The partnership with Gordon Ramsay North America follows the successful launch of Gordon Ramsay Burger at Great Canadian Casino Vancouver in December 2023.

Diners can expect a menu that combines Chef Ramsay’s iconic signature dishes, such as his world-famous Beef Wellington — a beautiful roasted beef tenderloin enveloped in an unctuous mushroom duxelle and wrapped in perfectly cooked flaking pastry. Steak selections include A5 Wagyu, Certified Angus and an impressive selection of dry-aged specialities. 

Exclusive locally-sourced offerings include wild Miso-Glazed Sablefish marinated in miso soy and glazed with a bourbon-aged miso maple syrup, served with stir-fried vegetables in a shellfish dashi, a delicious appetizer of Wild Bluefin Tuna Tartare in which high-grade bluefin tuna is tossed in a house made ponzu sauce and garnished with avocado, and cucumber scales, plus mouth-watering sides such as locally grown, organic roasted heirloom carrots served with harissa yogurt and caramelized honey.

75% of produce, 85% of beef and all pork and salmon on the menu will be sourced from Canadian producers. For those craving a sweet treat, don’t forget Chef Ramsay’s famous sticky toffee pudding, a melt-in-your-mouth pudding cake with brown sugar toffee and brown butter ice cream.

From freshly baked breads to handcrafted sauces, everything at Gordon Ramsay Steak is crafted in-house. An extensive wine list showcases premium selections from BC and Canadian wineries, while inventive cocktails complement the sophisticated ambiance.
