Are you a craft beer fan in search of a tasty event focused on both IPA and locally-sourced dining? Then check out Forage Vancouver’s Flight of the IPA on Wednesday evening, October 30.
[Rick Green opens Vancouver Craft Beer Week 2012]
Our good friend and beer aficionado Rick Green (of BC Brews, president of Campaign for Real Ale BC) is hosting a four-course dinner, each dish paired with two different three-ounce IPA samplers.
We’ve experienced both brunch and dinner at Forage, and it’s always a pleasure to enjoy Chef Chris Whittaker’s gorgeous, wholesome meals.
[A few favourite Forage dishes: L to R, top to bottom: Pacific provider salmon, Pemberton potatoes, sea asparagus, pickled huckleberries; BC spot prawn and seafood chowder, soft-poached egg, smoked chicharrón, pork hock; spicy kale and apple chips; cracklings and popcorn]
Guests will be able to vote on their favourite beer per course, and favourite course overall. From appetizers right through to dessert, this is sure to be a hit for foodies and beer lovers alike.
As well, CAMRA BC will have growlers for sale during the event. Cap off BC Craft Beer Month in style!
