As Frankfurt, Germany-based Condor Airlines celebrates a milestone 70 years in service, they’ve also launched their North American summer season, including expanded service to Barcelona, Budapest, London Gatwick and Venice.

Once you arrive at Germany’s fifth-largest city, you’ll now be able to continue onward to four of Europe’s most popular destinations. The inter-European flights to/from Frankfurt are offered between two and three times daily.

I’ve had the pleasure of flying with Condor in the past while enjoying a relaxing journey aboard the fleet’s A300Neo in business class. Condor offers seasonal nonstop flights to its Frankfurt hub from Los Angeles (LAX), Boston (BOS), San Francisco (SFO), Portland (PDX), Las Vegas (LAS), Anchorage (ANC), Vancouver (YYR) and Calgary (YYC), and joins the airline’s year-round service from New York (JFK), Seattle (SEA), and Toronto (YYZ).

For Condor passengers that wish to break up their journey or who have a slightly longer layover, the airline has partnered with Visit Frankfurt to encourage exploring their home base, including a special stay-over hotel package with one-night accommodation (including breakfast) and the option for a complimentary lunch or dinner, a two-day Frankfurt Card, plus unlimited use of Frankfurt’s convenient public transport system.

The package starts as low as $117, depending on class of hotel and time of booking. From Frankfurt Airport’s train station, visitors can be in the city center in as little as 15 minutes.

In total, Condor now serves more than 80 destinations with same terminal Condor-to-Condor thru connections.
