Khatsahlano! Music + Art Festival is Vancouver’s largest free outdoor music event, returning this year on Saturday, July 21, from noon to 8 pm.
The 2012 edition will feature six stages showcasing over 30 of Vancouver’s top musical performers, including The Zolas, Bend Sinister, Jeremy Fisher, The Matinee, Kathryn Calder, Ladyhawk, Blackout Beach, and much more.
The festival’s a cool mix of local music in addition to distinctive local artisans, street performers, and a great street fest vibe.

Local merchants will transform Kitsilano’s legendary West 4th Avenue into a gigantic, 10-block street fair offering a wide choice of food options, bustling patios, Kitsilano’s biggest garage sale, giveaways and special activities. Stroll down West 4th Avenue from Burrard to MacDonald and soak up the atmosphere. This is one of my favourite street festivals, but then being a Kitsilite, I’m biased.
