This year’s Dish ‘n’ Dazzle will feature wines of Argentina in an important fundraising event for the British Columbia Hospitality Foundation (BCHF).
I greatly enjoyed last year’s event presented by Wines of Chile. For the 2012 edition, Wines of Argentina will sponsor the brightest lights on our local culinary scene.

Over 80 Argentinian wines will be provided for pairing with over 10 Vancouver restaurants. Six local bartenders will put their swizzle sticks to the test for an Argentinian-inspired cocktail competition, in a separate lounge area to be hosted by Legacy Liquor Store.

There will also be an elaborate silent auction in support of the BC Hospitality Foundation.
All proceeds will go to the BCHF, which provides financial support for hospitality industry members who are facing extraordinary medical expenses. In addition, BCHF has helped match donations, organize fundraising events (such as this one), and give community scholarships to aspiring culinary students.
