From global phenomenon to highly sought-after secret, Dîner en Blanc® is set to take over one of Vancouver’s most beautiful public spaces for the third time, this year on August 21.
Taking the pop-up concept to a refined and mysterious level, these romantic outdoor epicurean feasts are attended annually by as many as 15,000 people in cities around the world.
Dîner en Blanc® promotes friendship, elegance, gallantry, and a sense of community. The annual secret affair, promising an unforgettable evening of beauty and magic, will take over an undisclosed public space whose location will be revealed only a few hours prior to the commencement of the event. Over 3,200 British Columbians, dressed in all-white, are expected to attend this year.
For Vancouver’s third official Dîner en Blanc®, the guest list will be increased to 3,200 people for the yet-to-be disclosed location. In previous years, the event has been held in Jack Poole Plaza at the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre (2012) and Creekside Park at Science World (2013) and was attended by 2,600 people.
