Another Vancouver Art Gallery FUSE is nearly upon us, this time one that explores MashUp: The Birth of Modern Culture, on now through June 12 at the VAG.
Explore the groundbreaking exhibition that is MashUp through a diverse range of performances and hands-on activities.
Event Highlights
– Hip-hop dance performances & workshops with Dedos & The Now or Never Crew, Project Soul Crew
– Partake in a Malaspina Printmakers screen printing workshop combining digital images with text
– Learn a range of collage techniques from artists Jessie and Ewan McNeil
– See experimental electronic music and video performances by students from Burnaby North High
Discover the Vancouver Art Gallery’s Family FUSE Weekend, where you’ll meet artists, musicians, dancers, performers, and educators for two days of family fun. This unique event combines fun activities with hands-on sessions throughout the Gallery.
VAG FUSE Weekend: CUT+COPY+PASTE
Dates: March 5 and 6, 10 am to 5 pm
Cost: Free for Gallery Members and for children age 12 & under when accompanied by an adult.
