Between major iPhone releases, I’ve been reviewing a few of the numerous protective, well-designed clear cases on the market, including the iSkin Claro and Incase Snap Case, as the purported iPhone 6 looms over the horizon. Rumored battery problems could cause delays into 2015, depending on what tech site you’re reading on any given day.
Here’s the Belkin View Case for iPhone 5/5s in Clear/Whiteout, a similar style, thin transparent case meant to protect and show off the iPhone’s gorgeous, yet simple design features.
The View Case for iPhone 5/5s protects your phone without covering it up or limiting access to buttons and controls. This transparent case has a polycarbonate back and impact-resistant TPU edges to guard against damage.
And thanks to its slim, lightweight design, the View Case can be tossed into a purse or slipped into a pocket so you can take your phone out with as little added weight as possible.
The View Case provides both impact and scratch protection; its sides cover all buttons without limiting access to any controls or ports, and its beveled edges help keep the screen scratch free.
The camera lens cutout is similar to the Claro and I had no problem using the camera with the case on my phone. The View Case’s matte, soft edges are relatively easy to grip.
The View Case is also available in Clear/Blacktop, Clear/Day Glo, Clear/Fresh, Clear/Volta, Clear/Reflection, and Clear/Violet.
Belkin’s View Case retails for US $19.99, comes with a one year warranty, and is available online.
