Prototypes, a group show featuring five Vancouver-based designers, will open tomorrow night at Burnkit Studios in East Vancouver. I was invited to preview the exhibit yesterday at Burnkit’s well-lit industrial space on Alexander Street.
What follows are several photos of the pieces. iPads are set up around the room to learn more about the process behind each prototype.
To learn more about the artists, visit the Prototypes website. If you like what you see, I’d highly recommend attending tomorrow’s Opening Night, when the artists will be on hand to discuss their work.
Participants include:
– Niels Bendtsen (Bensen Manufacturing, Inform Interiors)
– Omer Arbel (Omer Arbel Office, Bocci)
- David Battersby & Heather Howat (Battersby Howat)
– Barnaby Killam & Stuart Sproule (Red Flag Design)
