KEEN has recently revamped their A86 retro-inspired trail running shoe – with its signature protective toe bumper – and given it a modern makeover in the KS86.

With a leather and synthetic upper and breathable mesh lining, the KS86 is ready to hit the trail with a sturdy, non-marking rubber outsole and generous toe space at the forefoot.

Detailing includes contrasting stitching in the lace area and a branded K designed on each side of the sneaker. The box includes a second pair of laces (we received the Naval Academy/Star White with both white and navy laces) to change up the look.

Easy to slip on and take to the streets or on urban trails, we found the KS86 to be a pretty groovy shoe that combines style and comfort, in a variety of colour-ways — also offered for women, big kids, and little kids.

The removable foam insole can be swapped out for others including orthotics, and the shoe sports a breathable mesh lining to minimize sweaty feet after a hike or walk around town.

All models additionally feature Eco anti-odour for natural, pesticide-free odour control.

Prices range from CAD $112.50 to $150/USD $69 to $115, in sizes 7 to 15 (half sizes between 8 and 12).
