Greek Day on Broadway

After a two-year hiatus, Greek Day on Broadway, the culmination of Greek Heritage Month, returns on June 26.

Greek Day on Broadway

This popular and lively street festival not only celebrates and shares Greek culture with Vancouver, but also pays tribute to the history of West Broadway, which became a centre for Greek culture and businesses following World War II.

The five-block, family-friendly event runs along West Broadway from Blenheim to Macdonald Street, and includes food, market vendors, music and dance.

Visitors can expect a wide variety of food, from food trucks to traditional Greek items, including souvlaki, spanakopita and dolmades. The organizers are excited to include Nostos Taverna this year, which recently opened on West Broadway at Trutch Street.

Greek Heritage Month is a key part of Vancouver history and has been operating for over 30 years. Greek Day on Broadway is presented by the Hellenic Canadian Congress of BC. Visit Greek Day online for more info.
