Jour de Macaron returns to Vancouver for the fifth year in a row on Friday, March 20, with many citywide bakeries offering a special macaron and/or supporting a cause with purchase.
This year, look for creations by Bel Café, Faubourg (all three locations: Kerrisdale, downtown and West Van at Park Royale; 100% of proceeds benefit Canadian Cancer Society), Soirette (portion of sales to Make-A-Wish Foundation of BC and Yukon), French Make Baking (by donation to BC Children’s Hospital), Thierry (10% of sales benefit St. Paul’s Hospital) and Thomas Haas (Kitsilano and North Van; 100% of proceeds go towards helping Canuck Place Children’s Hospice).
Grab a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy some of these fine little treats for several worthy causes!
