Established in 2004, Teeez Cosmetics is a Dutch brand with an unconventional edge, fusing fashion and beauty with originality. They launch a new collection each season and are known for their vibrant product design.
When the company invited me to sample several lip products from their summer collection, I couldn’t resist. I mean, look at this cool packaging!
Teeez has launched in Canada and is available exclusively at select Hudson’s Bay locations as well as via their online portal.
I received hot-off-the-runway products from their Desert Glow and Sugar Rush collections plus an Eve’s Ready to Wear lipstick, all with edgy designs that brings summer to mind. All prices listed are in Canadian dollars.
Sugar Rush Object of Affection Lip Balm
This ultra cute case sports a colourful orange top and a gold bottom with a mirror inside. The lip balm contains an antioxidant complex and is both silicon- and paraben free.
Vanilla Sky’s got a light fruity scent that doesn’t overpower when worn and has a relatively smooth texture and non-sticky finish. 2.5 grams, $21

Sugar Rush Sealed with a Kiss Lipduo
That bold gold bullet top means business! This liquid lipstick/gloss duo is meant to last for up to four hours and is paraben free. I’m wearing Rosebud Shine, a bright, hot colour for summer. I like this product for the combined smoothness of a gloss with moisturizing lipstick.

There’s 16 colours in the collection ranging from Naked Almond to Retro Mocha. In other words, a lip shade for everyone. 1.5 grams, $28

Eve’s Ready to Wear Lipstick
Contained in a pretty, see-through design is Eve’s Ready to Wear Lipstick. Containing wild mango, this one has a rich formula to hydrate and repair dry lips. 16 colours are available but I’m trying a nude finish in this product, for a little shimmer during the day.
This lipstick, like its sister product Desert Rush, has a nearly undetectable flavour (a big bonus in my book), goes on smooth and light and wears comfortably. 3.5 grams, $23

Desert Lush Sheer Lipstick
“The desert cat is watching from the dark, with it’s mysterious eyes and elegant tail.”
Opening the box of the Desert Lush lipstick line reveals this cheeky little message (in French as well). These are also paraben-free and are formulated with SPF10 to give your lips a fighting chance in the summer heat.
Of the four, this one has the nicest texture, is the most moisturizing on my lips and Carnelian Coral is fantastic for my skin tone! There’s 12 semi-transparent shades to select from and I’m certain this lipstick find a home in my bag this season. 3.5 ml, $24
