We recently had the chance to be spoiled with Casper sheets and pillows.

Casper is a global sleep company launched three years ago with an obsessively engineered, outrageously comfortable mattress sold directly to consumers.

Its critically-acclaimed sleep surface was developed in-house, has a sleek design and is delivered in a small, “how did they do that?”-sized box.

Through endless hours of research, the team discovered that four key factors affect sleep quality: comfort, durability, support and temperature and created their products to address all four.

What makes a Casper pillow amazing? Unzip the cover and you’ll find a sleeping-bag type lining. It’s basically a lined pillow. I hadn’t seen or experienced one like it so when Casper sent us a set to check out, I couldn’t wait to get it onto our bed!

Fine, silky fibers allow the pillow to maintain its perfect shape, finished with breathable percale cotton to sleep cool throughout the night. As well, Casper offers just one firmness, a balance between squishy soft and supportive, in standard and king sizes.

The 400-count sheets are cotton percale and designed to soften with each wash. Pure California Supima cotton is used for a breathable, crisp and smooth feel to the skin. Sheets are available as sets (flat sheet, fitted sheet, two pillowcases) with an option duvet cover add-on.

We like the high-quality elastic around the fitted sheet that helps keep it from twisting when slept on. The short side of the sheet has blue labels so you’ll always know which end is which.

The verdict? These take some getting used to if you own softer pillows. They sit up higher than we expected too but they offer some great support.

The sheets are comfy and cool and will soften with time. Crisp and white, they also stay put due to that 1/2” wide or so elastic that fits snugly around the mattress.
