The lack of decent snow cover on our local mountains means packing up the car for inland skiing adventures and special events. Valentine’s Day will make a great reason for ski fans and craft beer lovers alike to head to Apex Mountain for the second annual Brewski.
“Brewski, a celebration of craft beer, cider and spirits, is a great fit with the Apex après ski vibe. It is the perfect event for those interested in sampling these flavourful, hand-crafted beverages and visiting the mountains, whether they are here to ski, board, snowshoe, or just breathe in the fresh winter air”.
“Last season, locals and visitors alike told us that our first annual Brewski event was one of the best events ever held at Apex. Because the event sold out well in advance last year, we have expanded the event this year to give more people the chance to experience this unique festival of flavour! The expanded event will now be held throughout the entire Gunbarrel Saloon & Restaurant and will feature 18 new and returning craft breweries, cideries and distilleries. In perfect combination with these craft beverages, we have delicious appetizers from the Gunbarrel Saloon and live entertainment from Victoria-based Towers and Trees, who rocked the house last year!” explains Emily Childs, Apex Events Manager.
