JFL NorthWest, in partnership with Just For Laughs, has announced JFL NorthWest in Vancouver from February 18 to 27, 2016. This inaugural comedy festival will feature 10 days of laughs with a fantastic lineup to take place around various city venues from the Rio to the Queen E Theatre.
There’s some pretty famous talent as well as up-and-coming acts ready to warm up to Vancouver audiences. Expect a healthy dose of improv, sketch, podcasts and all-ages events in addition to Trevor Noah, Wanda Sykes, Lewis Black, Miranda Sings, Jeremy Hotz, and one of our faves, Janeane Garofalo.
Janeane’s starred in numerous films from Reality Bites, The Cable Guy, Wet Hot American Summer to Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion. She’s a previous cast member of the Ben Stiller Show.
Other TV appearances include The West Wing, 24, and HBO specials. She’s even found the time to co-author a book with Ben Stiller, Feel This Book!
The actor/spoken word performer/stand-up comedienne will be in town for two nights at East Vancouver’s Rio Theatre. We’re partnering up with JFL NorthWest to give a lucky reader a pair of tickets to the February 23 show!
