Cento Notti

Keeping things fresh, the third installment at the Opus Hotel is now Cento Notti, following previous popup restaurants 100 Days and One Hundred Nights.

The interior design is cheeky throughout, with painted mannequins, feathers, lots of gold, and an array of playful lighting. My friend Lenora and I spoke with Opus owner John Evans, who confirmed that Cento Notti was great fun for the design team to get underway.

“Italian food with a twist” is the new focus on this iteration of Yaletown’s best known popup. Last night, I was invited to preview various offerings off of the menu, including pasta, veal, salads, a selection of cheeses and cured meats plus a fabulous dessert table.

The cannelloni and peanut butter cups were irresistible.

The new year will see yet another popup in this space. Stay tuned. I’m curious to see what the Opus Hotel team have up their sleeve this time! It now seems like ages ago that the Elixir called the Opus Hotel home.

Cento Notti is located at 350 Davie Street in Yaletown, next to the Opus Hotel.

More photos of the opening event can be found on my Flickr photo set.
