TJ Dawe

Fringe Festival favourite TJ Dawe will make an appearance at this year’s Festival in a monologue about life and reaching out, called Lucky 9. TJ Dawe is an award-winning (and published) writer/performer/director.

I sat down with TJ to find out more about the man who’s brought The Slipknot, Tired Clichés, Labrador, Totem Figures, Dishpig, and other productions to the stage.

Lucky 9 performance times at Origins Organic Coffee on Granville Island are:

Saturday, September 11, 5:15 pm
Sunday, September 12, 1:35 pm
September 14 and 16, 7:15 pm
September 17 and 19, 9:00 pm
Saturday, September 18, 1:30 pm
Saturday, September 18, 7:30 pm

I hope that some of you are heading out this weekend to see TJ perform this wonderful show at the Pick of the Fringe. He’s doing his show on Friday night at the Waterfront Theatre. Saturday there’s an early evening show there as well.

Check the Vancouver Fringe website for tickets/showtimes.
