A group of local fashion media and writers got a glittery start to the holidays this morning as Tiffany & Co.’s downtown Vancouver location opened their doors for a catered breakfast by Hawksworth Restaurant.
The morning’s theme was A Tiffany Holiday, and the beautiful creations inside the shop’s glass cases did not disappoint.
Rob Ferguson, Tiffany Canada’s West coast Group Director showed off splendid, one-of-a-kind diamond rings, elegant diamond-encrusted cuffs, and some of the regular collection items as we sipped mimosas and enjoyed breakfast goodies from Chef David Hawksworth.
Some of these pieces top women’s wish lists on an annual basis, and it certainly can’t hurt to try on a few jewels for size! I was wowed by the Atlas Hinged Bangle, made with rose gold and round brilliant diamonds at $9,900 CDN. Roman numerals work their way around the bracelet, evoking a sensation of timelessness. The top portion contains diamonds, smartly designed to avoid diamond mishaps on the bottom portion. It fits the wrist perfectly, those elegant diamonds showing off the rose-coloured gold.
Another piece that caught my eye was a simple gold mesh wrap necklace, designed to remain in place when worn. It nicely contrasts against a dark-coloured piece of clothing.
This rare, dark orange diamond ring with a unique diamond band design will soon be off to the States (several more unique items were brought to Vancouver for a series of private events). The fancy, one-of-a-kind ring shows off a gorgeous stone for $2,530,000.
Tiffany is located at 723 Burrard Street in downtown Vancouver.
