Royal Feet Reflexology is a Vancouver wellness centre focusing on healthcare, therapy, and relaxation. They specialize in reflexology (foot massage), acupressure (Chinese style body massage), and sports injury-related acupuncture.

And they’ve also been great in treating my recent knee problem, so I can personally vouch for both the level of service and effectiveness of the treatments I’ve been receiving (acupuncture and sports massage).

The spa provides a welcoming environment, with a range of services delivered by a team of highly qualified therapists. A cup of hot herbal tea awaits clients in the lobby. Royal Feet’s therapy and relaxation services draw from traditional Chinese medicine. The practitioners both evaluate and communicate with clients, utilizing their skills as well as showing an honest love for what they do.

Three of the services that Royal Feet offers are reflexology, acupuncture, and acupressure.

The foot is referred to as the “second heart” of a human. While reflexology is a simple therapy, it leads to great results with no side effects, and is especially helpful for middle-aged and elderly people. Reflexology balances metabolism, prevents vascular diseases, regulates blood pressure, blood fat, and blood sugar while removing dampness and coldness in the limbs. Reflexology is effective in preventing rheumatism and joint diseases while stimulating the normal function of the organs and promoting overall health. It will also boost the immune system and balance ying and yang. Nourishing your feet is the key to a healthy and long life.

Acupressure is a traditional massage based on the theories of traditional Chinese medical science. It involves applying pressure to different pressure points of the body. Acupressure is a deep tissue massage that is effective in relaxing the muscles, relieving pain and pressure, regulating the normal functions of the body, stimulating the immune system, increasing circulation, balancing ying and yang, and promoting a long and healthy life. It also restores suppleness to the skin and will make you feel more energetic.

Acupuncture encourages the body to promote natural healing by inserting sterilized needles and applying heat or electrical stimulation at very precise acupuncture points located on meridians through which chi vital energy runs. There is minimal pain involved as the needles are much thinner than the needles used in blood tests and preventative injections. Acupuncture can be used for digestive and respiratory disorders, neurological and muscular problems, as well as menstrual, fertility, and reproductive issues.
