Vancouver Urban Winery Sunday School

With the focus on France at the upcoming Vancouver International Wine Festival, the team behind Vancouver Urban Winery’s popular Sunday School wine seminar series are hosting a class in preparation: #302: France vs. the New World.

Hosted by Sommeliers David Stansfield and Lisa Cook, class attendees can expect to have their palates honed and minds armed with enough knowledge to cruise the International Festival Tasting room with confidence.

Stansfield and Cook are both experienced wine professionals. Stansfield is the in-house Sommelier for the Vancouver Urban Winery, the Corporate Sommelier for the Daniel Hospitality Group, and a consultant for east side restaurants Bestie, Cuchillo, and Chicha, while Cook is the Cellar Manager for award-winning Joey’s Wineroom. The accomplished pair share a penchant for fun, obscure wines that result in classes ideal for wine lovers of all levels.
