Santa visit

Pan Pacific’s Christmas Wish Breakfast returns for its 26th season on Wednesday, December 11 from 6 am to 9 am. This event is always a highlight of the season, including a hot breakfast for anyone bringing an unwrapped toy to the Pan Pacific Hotel lobby.

Christmas Wish Breakfast

The Pan Pacific Vancouver Christmas Wish Breakfast is a Vancouver tradition that celebrates the generosity of the city. For the past 26 years, people have opened their hearts and their wallets to support the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau and make Christmas special for families in need.

Each year, the Pan Pacific Vancouver Hotel makes this a fun-filled heart-warming event for all ages. And on this 26th anniversary, together with longtime media partners Global TV and Rock 101, it will be bigger and better than ever!

If you’re low on time and high on holiday spirit, feel free to drop off a toy inside the hotel front door and grab a cup of coffee and muffin on your way out. Otherwise, join close to 5,000 Vancouverites as breakfast buffet is served up with Santa in the house.

Toys and firefighters

Last year, close to 12 tonnes of toys and $26,000 in cash donations flowed into the hotel, making this the largest charity toy donation in Canada. The entire hotel staff plus a team of volunteers are onsite starting at 5 am, ensuring that the morning runs smoothly. City of Vancouver Fire Department volunteers will later load the toys into moving trucks that will be transported to the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau’s warehouse for distribution this holiday season.

The kitchen brigade gets underway in the middle of the night, preparing over 12,500 sausages, 1,200 pounds of hash browns, 4,200 croissants and 800 kg of eggs!

Xmas Choir

A choir, live entertainment, and Rock 101 morning DJs will all be broadcast on Global TV and Rock 101 that morning, so get down early and partake of a well-loved tradition, all for a great cause.

This year, the Pan Pacific Vancouver is offering Lower Mainland residents a special way to experience the Christmas Wish Breakfast and give even more to the Christmas Bureau.
