On October 31, Arrival Agency will present one of their legendary, multi-room Halloween parties at the iconic Hotel Vancouver. The event will be held in six of the hotel’s ballrooms featuring party DJs, an erotic Vegas-style floorshow, mind-boggling illusions, a massive costume contest, a tequila-fueled Day of the Dead fiesta, and a comedic conjuring of the hotel’s famous ghost, the Lady in Red. The entertainment lineup is expansive and includes something for all tastes.
“Everyone who has attended any of our previous Halloween parties knows that all bets are off. In the past we’ve erected 16-storey amusement park rides and constructed haunted mazes to help create a fun, carnivalesque atmosphere. This year is going to be our biggest one yet,” according to Arrival Agency’s Daniel Fazio.
It was in these very ballrooms that the legend of the Lady in Red originated. After perishing in a horrific car crash, Jennie Pearl Cox began wandering the hotel in a long, flowing gown. The stylish spectre apparently haunts the hotel as she was fond of attending the opulent gatherings in the Hotel Vancouver’s ballroom in the 1930’s and 1940’s.
Typically seen walking the halls of the 14th floor, this apparition has been known to enjoy a good party and will likely be on hand, along with upwards of 1,000 ‘living’ attendees.
The Pacific Ballroom will feature an erotic, Vegas-style floorshow, headlined by Pandora and the Locksmiths, a collective of professional singers, dancers, and musicians who create exceptional live productions. Joining the revue will be award-winning, Vancouver Fringe Fest fave illusionist Travis Bernhardt and Go-Go dance troupe The Hot Pants.
Vancouver’s premiere improv comedians The Sunday Service will headline the comedy room and conduct a seance. Whether or not they’ll be able to make contact with the Lady in Red remains to be seen. They’re certain however to summon sidesplitting laughs.

– Exotic rhythms from Tropidelica, hosting a Day of the Dead Fiesta
