Vancouver Mini Maker Faire 2013-26

Now in its fourth year, the Vancouver Mini Maker Faire (VMMF) will return to the PNE Forum on June 7 and 8 to inspire DIY enthusiasts at the East Vancouver family-friendly event. Diverse Makers will share their creations; this unique show unites art, electronics, robotics, music, crafts, kinetic sculptures, fire art, computer hacking, quilting, farming, engineering, and everything in between.

“Vancouver Mini Maker Faire was created out of a desire to celebrate the act of making,” says Founder Emily Smith. “After three years of running successful Maker Faires, we’re excited to see new projects and partnerships take life, initiatives grow, books getting published, and new maker spaces open as hobbyists and enthusiasts take their ideas to the next level.”

Returning popular Makers include the Mondo Spider, 3D printer village, Vancouver LEGO Club, Vancouver Hack Space, DIY or Die!!!, eatART’s Prosthesis Anti-Robot Project and Titanoboa, and Laser Cutter Cafe.

Tickets: Adults, $14; students 13 to 18/seniors, $11; kids 5 to 12, $9; available online
