Love shopping online? I recently discovered Wantable, a monthly shopping service that delivers the goods to your door.
I normally know what I’m going to order online ahead of time, but this is a fun way to receive pieces handpicked based on a series of personal preferences. The site leads you through various screens so you can love, like, or dislike various categories.
Once you’ve gone through the selections and indicate your sizes (ring, necklace, bracelet), you’re set to go with a subscription (or one-time shipment) of goods, choosing from makeup, intimates, or accessory collections.
The October Accessories page caught my attention.
“Bold shapes are making a statement this season, so we have plenty of pieces to help you wear this trend flawlessly. If bold color gets your heart facing, our jewel tone pieces will inspire you to create some beautiful looks. Our featured expert and jewelry designer, Emily Maynard, is thrilled to be showcasing some pieces from her very own jewelry collection this month. Emily’s pieces are designed with mixed metals, hammered hardware, natural stones, and playful contrasts that will bring personality to any occasion.”
Wantable’s team of shoppers and stylists choose four or five selections per month, and send them off your way. The Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based company launched in 2012, and their team includes designers, marketers, entrepreneurs, and developers. The in-house curators hand-pick the items based on numerous speciality/premium vendors offering on-trend items.
The company promises that no two boxes are alike. Wantable works with brands such as Coobie, NCLA, Betsey Johnson, FACE Stockholm, Color Club, Besame, Kibys, LAQA & Co, Glam Natural, Soxxy, and other notable designers.

I’m a picky shopper, so I was curious to see the quality of the goods for the $40 investment. My box arrived about two weeks after placing the order. Email reminders let me know that my goods were on the way.
What’s in the box
I am pretty amazed at how closely the selection of accessories mirrored my preferences! Four very sleek, modern pieces came nicely packaged in little black drawstring bags; the Cate & Chloe Kaylie hoop earrings arrived in a fancy bow-tied box.
Each item on the invoice includes styling tips for integrating the jewellery into my wardrobe, as well as a colour-coordinated preferences overview recap at the top. When added up, this particular shipment is valued at US $89 before tax (according to the invoice), so I definitely feel that I got a great deal by taking a chance on the stylists picking out my collection.
It costs $36 for a monthly subscription, or $40 for a one-time purchase. Shoppers can decide to cancel or skip a purchase at any time. What you don’t love, you can return, hassle-free.
Wantable currently ships to the US (free for orders over $36), United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
