VMF Winter Arts, a free, all-ages 11-day festival in downtown Vancouver, brings a celebration of light, arts and entertainment to the city in the heart of winter.
From music to walking tours, dance parties, food and art installations, the festival celebrates people from all walks of life. The organizers aim to support the development of sustainable communities through art, and as such, several open-air exhibits will be on view for everyone to enjoy.
Look for Vancouver’s iconic buildings to be lit with Coast Salish weaving patterns at Canada Place, BC Place and Telus Garden.
Located at šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square (formerly known as the Vancouver Art Gallery North Plaza), the Winter Arts Hub will house a licensed bar, rotating food trucks, market vendors, interactive art and free daily performances under a covered, heated festival stage.
Look for Alegría by Cirque du Soleil VR plus teaser performances by CircusWest.
