Vancouver Harbour Centre is again inviting Vancouverites to get their heart rates up by climbing the Urban Grind: the stairs to its iconic Lookout.
This good-for-your-heart workout is a great way to kickstart the upcoming hiking season or simply have fun with friends and colleagues.
As a payoff for your effort, you’ll be treated to a stunning 360º aerial view of Vancouver, a refreshing beer and live DJ entertainment. Climbers will have the opportunity to customize their workout by completing the route as many times as desired between 4 pm and 6:30 pm.
This year, BC’s very own elite Tower Runner, Shaun Stephens-Whale, will be on site to share his stair climbing tips.
His most recent accolades include winning the 2017 Rainier Tower Fight for Air Climb in Seattle, placing third in the Climb to Abu Dhabi Vertical Marathon and in the Empire State Building Run-Up.
Each $5 entry ticket includes one beer, DJ entertainment, plus a $5 Harbour Centre Food Court voucher. Visit Vancouver Lookout online for details.
